Thai Massage

Thai massage is one of the ancient healing arts of traditional Thai medicine, all the others are either  herbal medicines or spiritual meditations. This term of  'massage' conjures up images of something totally different from Thai massage, which at its most basic is a much complex sequence soft tissue pressing, stretching, twisting and joint manipulations. That’s why many use the term 'Thai bodywork' instead of 'massage'.

Thai bodywork has been in a constant evolution process for more than 1,000 years. Therefore, it is not surprising to see lot of subtle variations in the techniques practiced by different practitioners, and even big differences are seen between the styles of bodywork characteristics of the North and South of Thailand.
